Architectural sign "Radzim's Rule"

On the eve of the Day of the National Flag, Coat of Arms and Anthem, a new architectural sign “Radzima Land” was opened at the highest point of Belarus – Mount Dzerzhinskaya.

At the highest point of Belarus – Mount Dzerzhinskaya –opened a new architectural sign “Radzima’s Landmark”. This gift was made by the district leadership to the residents of Belarus on the eve of the Day of the National Flag, Coat of Arms and Anthem.

Mount Dzerzhinskaya is considered the highest point in Belarus. Its peak is 345 m above sea level. Previously it was called the Holy Mountain, in 1958 it was renamed Dzerzhinskaya. In the late 1990s, a granite slab with an inscription in Belarusian was installed on the mountain. Today the place has been cultivated and is a monument.

The first guests at the updated highest point were also pioneers and activists of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union, the delegation of the Minsk region, including the UE “Agrokombinat “Zhdanovichi”. Among the ceremony participants were the author of the project, dean of the BNTU Faculty of Architecture Armen Sardarov, the master who made the sign, sculptor from Fanipol Vladimir Kanonik and the team of the RUP Belorusneft-Minoblnefteprodukt enterprise, which sponsored the reconstruction of the sign.

 Vladimir Kanonik — metal artist, member of the Eurasian Art Union, author of more than 40 metal art objects installed throughout Belarus, including an architectural composition on Dzerzhinskaya Mountain.
